Questions about Stripe payments
Why don't my users get access after they pay?
Usually the app gives access from the success page, or the webhook never arrives or fails its signature check. We move that decision to a signed webhook on your server, so access opens only when Stripe confirms the payment.
Is it safe to have my Stripe key in my app?
The publishable key is meant for the browser. The secret key must stay on the server, because it can charge, refund and read your customers. If it ever shipped in frontend code, roll it in the Stripe dashboard.
How do I switch Stripe from test mode to live?
Live mode has its own keys, products, prices and webhook endpoints, so each one has to be set up and pointed at your live app. We make the switch with you, then run a small real purchase and refund it.
How much does it cost to fix Stripe payments in my app?
